CJI Surya Kant responds to Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge’s request for a meeting on issues concerning the Election Commission, student arrests, metro station closures and train cancellations, stating that the issues are already pending before the Supreme Court.

In separate interactions, CJI Surya Kant discussed the vision and objectives behind the initiative, while Justice P.S. Narasimha explained its implementation, the role of mediation and the need to institutionalise the process for long-term dispute resolution.
