On 8-1-2026, 2 Judicial Officers, namely- Ramesh Chander Dimri and Neerja Kulwant Kalson, were sworn in as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court. They were administered oath of office by Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court.
On 2-1-2026, the President of India, in exercise of powers under Article 224(1) of the Constitution, appointed the Judicial Officers as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court for a period of 2 years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 16-12-2025 had approved the proposal for their appointment as Judges of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
