In exercise of the power conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President appointed Justice Biren Aniruddh Vaishnav, Judge of the Gujarat High Court as Acting Chief Justice during the period of absence of Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court, who is on leave from 01-04-2025 to 06-04-2025. The appointment was notified on 28-3-2025.
Earlier, the President had appointed Justice Biren Aniruddh Vaishnav, as Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court from 20-03-2025 to 31-03-2025, during the period of absence of the Chief Justice.
