Centre appoints Chief Justices for the High Courts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal

The Law Ministry notified the appointments of the new Chief Justices on 23-12-2024.

The Ministry of Law and Justice on 23-12-2024 notified the appointment of the following Judges as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court and Uttaranchal High Court respectively:

  • Justice G.S Sandhawalia, currently serving as Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, has been appointed as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.

  • Justice Narendar G., currently Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court, has been appointed as Chief Justice of Uttaranchal High Court.
