Law Ministry notifies the appointment of 3 Advocates as Judges of Gujarat High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium on 13-8-2024, recommended their names after considering their merit and record.

On 8-10-2024, the Ministry of Law and Justice notified the appointment of the following Advocates as Judges of Gujarat High Court:

  1. Sanjeev Jayendra Thaker,

  2. Deeptendra Narayan Ray and

  3. Maulik Jitendra Shelat

The Advocates were appointed as Judges by the President of India in exercise of powers under Article 217(1) of the Constitution. The Advocates were appointed as Judges, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

The Supreme Court Collegium on 13-8-2024, recommended their names after considering their merit and record.
