About Lex Infinitum 2027
Lex Infinitum is a premier International Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Competition that brings together aspiring legal professionals, academics, practitioners, and institutions from across India and abroad.
For over a decade, Lex Infinitum has been dedicated to advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) by engaging, inspiring, and challenging law students and young professionals from across the globe. Each year, participants step into roles as mediators and negotiators engaging in dynamic and interactive competition sessions, guided and assessed by some of the world’s most accomplished ADR experts.

The three-day event will commence with “Mediation Musings,” a conclave featuring scholars and practitioners who will engage in discussions on the evolving global scope, significance, and practice of mediation. This will be followed by the formal Inaugural Ceremony and the competitive rounds of the Mediation Competition.

Following the preliminary rounds, the highest-performing teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final Rounds, culminating in the selection of the winning team.

For the 2027 edition, Lex Infinitum anticipates participation from several prominent national and international institutions, along with distinguished professionals and experts from across the world.
The 11th edition was host to several universities and colleges from across the globe where we welcomed over 35 distinguished ADR professionals, while witnessing the intense battle of skills among 24 negotiating teams and 12 talented mediators. It was a celebration of knowledge, strategy, and collaboration that truly elevated the spirit of ADR.
As we embark into this new edition, we carry with us a decade’s worth of wisdom and experience, fuelling our ambition to push boundaries even higher year after year.
This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the 12th edition of Lex Infinitum! We eagerly look forward to reuniting with our Lex Infinitum family and warmly welcoming new members who will help us continue this legacy.
The Winning and Runner-Up Negotiating Teams and Mediators will each take home a Certificate, a Trophy, and a share of prize money worth up to ₹1,65,000/-

Team Composition

A total of 24 negotiating teams & 12 mediators shall be selected to compete in the competition.

A negotiating pair shall consist of one client and one counsel.

Negotiating pair and mediator shall be admitted separately.
