Kautilya Society NUJS blog submissions law policy

The blog engages with contemporary issues in law and public policy and encourages interdisciplinary perspectives that critically examine pressing legal, regulatory, and governance challenges.

Themes:

Submissions may address any issue at the intersection of law and policy. We particularly welcome pieces that offer novel insights, strong analytical engagement, and clear policy relevance.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Articles should be between 1500—3000 words.

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Co-authorship (up to three authors) is permitted.

  • Submissions must be anonymous. Please ensure that the manuscript contains no identifying information, including institutional affiliations.

  • Citations must be in the form of hyperlinks embedded within the text. Where hyperlinking is not possible, citations must conform to the NUJS Law Review Citation Standard.

Review Process:

Submissions will undergo a two-stage editorial review assessing:

  • originality and novelty,

  • quality of argumentation,

  • structure and coherence, and

  • depth of analysis.

Post-Acceptance:

Upon acceptance, authors will be required to submit a short bio and a relevant photograph for publication alongside the blog post. The Kautilya Society reserves the right to make stylistic and formatting edits to ensure consistency across the blog.
