Supreme Court designates 7 former High Court Judges as Senior Advocates

On 18 March 2026, Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant and the Judges of the Supreme Court held a Full Court Meeting wherein they designated the following former Judges of High Courts as Senior Advocates with effect from 18 March 2026:

1. Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal Former Judge, High Court of Punjab and Haryana

2. Justice Harsha Nathalal Devani Former Judge, High Court of Gujarat

3. Justice M.S. Ramesh Former Judge, High Court of Madras

4. Justice Mauna M. Bhatt Former Judge, High Court of Gujarat

5. Justice R.N. Manjula Former Judge, High Court of Madras

6. Justice Umesh Chandra Dhyani Former Judge, High Court of Uttaranchal

7. Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul Former Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh
