AIBE XXI COP Update: First batch dispatched to State Bar Councils; second phase processing for pending candidates announced

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced an update regarding the Certificates of Practice (COPs) of AIBE XXI-qualified candidates.

COPs Dispatched to State Bar Councils

The COPs of candidates who enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils and uploaded their Enrolment Certificates on or before 30 July 2026 have been processed, printed and dispatched to their respective State Bar Councils.

Candidates whose COPs have been dispatched are advised to contact their respective State Bar Councils regarding:

• collection of the COP; and

• the status of the dispatched certificate.

Second Lot of COP Processing

Candidates who uploaded their Enrolment Certificates after 30 July 2026 and up to 30 September 2026 will be considered in the second lot of COP processing and dispatch. Processing and dispatch of COPs in the second phase will be subject to successful verification of documents.

BCI has advised candidates to regularly check the AIBE Portal for updates regarding the status of their COPs.
