Supreme Court Directs APAAR Consent Form to Include Opt-Out Option; Restricts Disclosure of Student Data

The Supreme Court has directed that the APAAR consent form must expressly allow parents or guardians to refuse consent. The Court also clarified that student data collected under the Scheme cannot be shared with private entities or third parties except in accordance with law.
