CAM advised the Sterlite Technologies Limited on qualified institutions placement of 2,57,28,500 equity shares of face value of INR 2 each aggregating to INR 1500 crore. 

Nuvama Wealth Management Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited and Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited acted as the book running lead managers on the transaction. 

Headquartered in India, STL has a global distribution presence, over 700 patents (including granted patents and patent applications) and manufacturing capabilities across countries including India, Italy, the United States and China. They are leading end-to-end manufacturer of optical fiber and optical fiber cables in India, in terms of manufacturing capacity as of Fiscal 2026. STL’s product portfolio spans (a) optical fibres, (b) optical fibre cables, (c) specialty cables, and (d) optical connectivity products, catering to diverse applications across communication networks, data infrastructure and enterprise connectivity solutions.

The proceeds of the QIP are proposed to be utilized towards re-payment and /or prepayment of certain outstanding borrowings of the Company and certain of its subsidiaries, and general corporate purposes.
