NALSAR University of Law is all set to bring the 3rd NALSAR-CCI Antitrust Moot, 2024 presented by Trilegal from March 22nd — 24th, 2024.

Trilegal presents 3rd NALSAR-CCI Antitrust Moot, 2024 is set to happen in two stages: the Memorandum Elimination Round and the Oral Rounds.

The top 24 teams from the Memorandum Elimination Round qualify to the Oral Rounds. The Oral Rounds are scheduled to happen between March 22nd — 24th, 2024 in an offline format at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

5. Eligibility

The Competition is open to students currently enrolled in LL.B. Degree Courses (3 year/5 year) or LLM Postgraduate Degree Courses enrolled in any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Applications from Cross-institutional Teams are accepted.

There is no limit on the number of teams applying from one institution.

6. Registration Process

Teams of 2 (speakers) or 3 (2 speakers and 1 researcher) are welcome to register.

Registrations closes on 10th February 2024.

No more than 100 teams will be accepted for the Memorandum Elimination Round on a first come first serve basis.

7. Registration Fees

Registration Fee of INR 6,000 per team is mandatory for all teams registering for the Competition. This fee will include arrangements for all teams qualifying to the Oral Rounds of the Competition. No separate accommodation fee will be levied later.

8. Prizes

Winning Team Award: Plaque, a cash prize of INR 1,00,000/-, Internship with Trilegal to each member of the team, and Three (3) one-year complimentary (Academic) subscription to SCC Online Web Edition with total worth Rs. 81,000/-

Runners-Up Team Award: Plaque, a cash prize of INR 50,000/-, Internship with Trilegal to each member of the team, Three one-year complimentary (Academic) subscriptions to EBC Learning with total worth INR 43,500/-

Best Speaker Award: Plaque and a cash prize of INR 10,000/-

Second-Best Speaker Award: Plaque and a cash prize of INR 7,500/-

Best Memorandum Award – Informant: Plaque and a cash prize of INR 12,500/-

Best Memorandum Award – Opposite Party: Plaque and a cash prize of INR 12,500/-

Best Researcher Award: Plaque, a cash prize of INR 7,500/- and an internship with Trilegal.

All participating teams will be provided with a certificate of participation or a certificate of merit in accordance with the performance of the team.

9. Rulebook and Brochure

10. Access To SCC Online for all participants

The Knowledge Partner of the competition, SCC Online, will be providing one month access to the SCC Online Web Edition to all the participants of the competition. This shall be made accessible through the individual email IDs of the participants. A training session for the participants will also be held.
