The Collegium comprising of Dr Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India and Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Sanjiv Khanna passed a Resolution on 17-08-2023 whereby which they recommended the name of Justice C S Sudha, Additional Judge, for appointment as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala.
On 21-06-2023, the Collegium of the High Court of Kerala unanimously recommended the name of Justice C.S. Sudha for appointment as Permanent Judge. A Committee of two Judges of the Supreme Court constituted by the Chief Justice of India, then assessed the judgments of Justice C.S. Sudha.
Considering and evaluating the material placed on record, the Collegium thus resolved to recommend Justice Sudha’s elevation as Permanent Judge of Kerala High Court.
