Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel to PerkinElmer Inc., with respect to sale of its AES Business assets to Spectralytic Scientific Solutions Private Limited (including negotiating, drafting, and reviewing of the business transfer agreement) on the India leg of this transaction. PerkinElmer, Inc. sold its Analytical & Enterprise Solutions business along with the PerkinElmer brand (across multiple jurisdictions including India) to leading global private equity fund New Mountain Capital (“NMC”) at a valuation of up to USD 2.45 Billion.
