Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, has been adjudged as the winner of the National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2020 (Mono Advocacy) organized by JECRC University (Rajasthan University) in association with Path Lexis, held on from the 26th to 27th September, 2020.
Mr. Samarth Suri, a second year student representing the college won the ‘Best Advocate’ award and was awarded a cash prize of INR 3,000.
More than 50 teams from across India participated in the competition. The moot problem was based on the constitutional validity of Preventive Detention Act, 1950 and the extent of reasonable restrictions under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution.
