The Bar Council of India, in association with All India Reporter inaugurated the Pune Chapter of their Professional Skill Development and Training Programme at New Law College, BVDU, Pune on September 03, 2019 by conducting a one-day training programme on Cybercrime investigation. The key-note speaker was Dr. Harold D’Costa, a celebrated cyber security expert in India. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Quotient Security System and President, Cyber Law Security Corporation. He is also a Senior Trainer of Judges and public prosecutors, and acts as advisor to various law enforcement agencies. The programme was divided into two sessions. Dr D’Costa discussed at length about the nature of cybercrimes prevalent in India and around the world and spoke about the investigation procedure followed therein under.
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that every individual is entitled to maintain their own dignity and individuality, based on sexual orientation. Senior Advocate Kirpal’s openness about his orientation goes to his credit and rejecting his candidature on this ground would be contrary to the constitutional principles laid down by the Supreme Court.
