The Kerala High Court has ruled that the distinction between the terms “chest” and “breast” is immaterial while assessing allegations of sexual assault against a child under the POCSO Act. The Court held that grabbing a child’s chest with sexual intent satisfies the ingredients of sexual assault under Section 7.
