The Delhi High Court has notified the High Court of Delhi Designation of Senior Advocate Rules, 2026, replacing the framework notified in 2024.
The new rules set out the eligibility requirements, application process, evaluation parameters and Full Court procedure for designation as a Senior Advocate, including the requirements of 10 years’ practice and 40 years of age, subject to the prescribed exceptions.
