Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited (“TRLK”) on the joint venture between Raghav Productivity Enhancers Limited (“RPEL”) and TRLK, pursuant to which RPEL and TRLK will incorporate a joint venture company in Odisha to undertake the manufacture, distribution and sale of Silica Ramming Mass, with RPEL holding a majority stake and TRLK holding a minority stake in the company. RPEL will be responsible for the manufacturing, distribution, sale and technology/IP relating to the products, while TRLK will supply Grade II Quartzite as the principal raw material to the company, pursuant to a supply agreement.
CAM also advised TRLK on the related technology/IP license arrangement and supply agreement.
