5 Women among 15 Judicial Officers recommended by Supreme Court Collegium for High Court Judgeship

On 10 September 2026, the Supreme Court Collegium led by CJI Surya Kant, recommended the names of 15 Judicial Officers for their appointment as High Court Judges. Among the recommended names, 5 Judicial Officers are women.

Following Judicial Officers were recommended as Jharkhand HC Judges

3. Ram Sharma

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court

The Collegium recommended Yash Paul Bourney, Judicial Officer, as Judge of J&K and Ladakh HC.

Karnataka High Court

Following Judicial Officers were recommended as Karnataka HC Judges

1. Usharani

2. K.S. Bharath Kumar

3. Nerale Veerabhadraiah Bhavani
