The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has formally published the results of its Executive Committee Election 2026-27, with the official result sheet dated 21 August 2026. The election was held on 18 August 2026, with the results declared later the same evening. Senior Advocate Pradeep Kumar Rai has been elected as President and will succeed Senior Advocate Vikas Singh in the post.
Senior Advocate Pradeep Kumar Rai, who previously served as Vice-President of the SCBA during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 terms, has now been elected to lead the Association. The election was held pursuant to the directions of the Supreme Court in its order dated 15 July 2026 passed in SCBA v. B.D. Kaushik1.
More than 80% of the 3, 437 eligible advocates participated in the election.

Senior Advocate Rahul Kaushik was re-elected as Vice-President, while Pragya Baghel and Meenesh Kumar Dubey were re-elected as Honorary Secretary and Joint Secretary, respectively.
Reepak Kansal has been elected Treasurer and Aditya Singh Joint Treasurer.
Among the Senior Executive Members, Senior Advocate Aparna Bhat and Senior Advocate Ruchi Kohli were elected unopposed. Aparna Bhat has thus retained her position in the Senior Executive Member category.
Senior Advocate Nachiketa Joshi, Senior Advocate P.H. Parekh, Senior Advocate Pijush Kanti Roy and Senior Advocate Ravi Shankar Jandhyala were also elected as Senior Executive Members.
Among the Executive Members, Rohit Vats and Samta Pushkarna Mishra have been re-elected.
Varun Mudgal, Divya Garg, Umesh Babu Chaurasia, Kumud Lata Das, Ruma Pathak, Dr. Jasmin Giri Kurian and Gautam Kumar have also been elected as Executive Members.
