Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM) acted as the legal advisors to Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited (“Dhoot”) in relation to its collaboration with Ride Vision Limited (“Ride Vision”), an Israel-based company specializing in Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ADAS) and AI-powered collision avoidance technologies.
The collaboration contemplates the establishment of a joint venture in India to develop and localize advanced driver assistance solutions for the Indian automotive market. The arrangement also includes the licensing of Ride Vision’s proprietary technology and know-how to support the development, manufacturing and commercialization of ADAS solutions tailored to Indian road and operating conditions.
The transaction represents a significant cross-border collaboration between India and Israel in the automotive safety technology sector. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of intelligent mobility and road safety solutions in India.
