Khaitan & Co advised Axis Growth Avenues AIF — I (an Axis AMC entity) in acquisition of stake in National Stock Exchange of India Limited (“Company”), by way of purchase of Equity Shares in the Company from Crown Capital Limited. The Company is India’s largest financial market and provides a platform to companies to raise capital and for investors to participate in the stock, fixed income securities and the derivatives markets.
The core team consisted of Vineet Shingal (Partner), Tanushree Bhuwalka (Partner), Devaditya Chakravarti (Principal Associate), Aditi Halder (Associate), and Ankur Kumar (Associate).
