School of Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is a part of Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, a premier educational institution. SLCU has a vision to become a globally recognised centre for excellence in legal education with a mission to create and proactively generate in-depth legal knowledge in the student community. To promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures and workshop are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals.
The Corporate Law Committee, SLCU, strives to create unparalleled opportunities for future legal professionals in the corporate world. Our goal is to impart a well-rounded understanding of Corporate Law and its associated areas through a variety of engaging activities. To further our mission, we humbly propose on organizing a prestigious 1st National Contract Drafting Competition & Workshop in collaboration with Nishith Desai Associates. The primary objective of this competition is to offer the law students a platform to develop their contract drafting skills in a simulated real-world scenario.
I. About the contract drafting workshop:
The workshop will be conducted on 14th February 2024 from 9:30 AM to 3 PM in OFFLINE MODE
About the contract drafting competition:
The competition will be held in ONLINE MODE. The link for registration will be open till the 10th February 2023.
II. Registration Fee:

Attend the workshop only: Rs. 500
-
Participate in the competition only: Rs. 700
-
Attend BOTH the workshop and the competition: Rs. 900
-
Please refer to the brochure for more details on the fees for a team of 2 participating in both the workshop and competition.
Please note that the participants will NOT be provided with any accommodation services as well as transport services by the Organizing Committee.
III. Eligibility Criteria:
This Workshop and Competition is open to students currently enrolled in 3-year LL.B or 5-year LL.B Courses in India.

Winner: Rs. 5000

Runner up: Rs. 3500

2nd Runner up: Rs. 2000
The top 3 entries will also get internship opportunities with NDA at the firm’s discretion.
