The Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice B.R. Gavai, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Aniruddha Bose on 29-12-2023 recommended the transfer of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar from Jharkhand High Court to Rajasthan High Court.
By a communication dated 29-12-2023, Justice Chandrashekhar, who is the senior-most Judge and currently the Acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, had requested for his transfer. Marking their acceptance to his request, the Collegium thus passed the instant Resolution.
