NLU Delhi Organising its Second Annual Doctoral Colloquium 2024
In the pursuit of advancing legal scholarship, the National Law University Delhi is set to host its Second Annual Doctoral Colloquium from March 1st to 3rd, 2024. This esteemed event invites participation from Ph.D. students across India, providing a distinguished platform for the examination and discourse on contemporary legal themes.
The Colloquium is structured with a dual-track approach, designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of legal interests. The general track encompasses crucial themes such as constitutional law, criminal law, labour law, law and technology, trade law, environmental law and sustainable development, public and private international law, family law, climate change and energy law, access to justice, and intellectual property law. Simultaneously, the specialised track delves into corporate law, competition laws, and commercial law, offering a focused exploration of these specialized domains.
The Colloquium extends an open invitation to all Ph.D. students currently enrolled in institutions across India. This approach fosters a collaborative environment, allowing scholars from diverse backgrounds and institutions to converge and exchange perspectives.
Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts, not exceeding 500 words, by the stipulated deadline of December 10th, 2023. These abstracts should be accompanied by a comprehensive resume outlining key research accomplishments, including conference presentations and publications. Additionally, a succinct 100-word bio encapsulating the academic and professional journey of the researcher is required. Notification of abstract acceptance will be communicated by December 24th, 2023.
Accepted participants are expected to submit their full papers by January 30th, 2024. To ensure a streamlined process, the final date for registration is set for February 10th, 2024.
