Khaitan & Co advised Axis Growth Avenues AIF — I (an Axis AMC entity) in its investment in Gopal Snacks Limited (“Company”), for an equity stake through secondary purchase. The Company is in the business of manufacturing namkeen, wafers, fryums, papad and other snack items which are marketed, distributed and sold by the Company under the brand name “Gopal”.
The core team consisted of Vineet Shingal (Partner), Saloni Mehta Bhandawat (Principal Associate), Vedika Agarwal (Senior Associate), Bimbita Kateel (Associate), Vivek Badkur (Associate) and Shreeya Agrawal (Associate) with additional inputs from: Tanushree Bhuwalka (Partner) and Pritali Patil (Senior Associate).
