Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of Permanent Judges for the High Courts of Allahabad and Punjab and Haryana

In a resolution dated 14-09-2023, the Supreme Court Collegium comprising of Dr Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice Sanjiv Khanna recommended the appointment of several Additional Judges as Permanent Judges for Allahabad High Court and Punjab and Haryana High Court. The recommended names are as follows-

Allahabad High Court

After due considerations and assessments of the Judges unanimously recommended by Collegium of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on 01-05-2023, the Supreme Court Collegium resolved to recommend the names of following Judges to be appointed as Permanent Judges-

2. Justice Renu Agarwal,

3. Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra,

4. Justice Mayank Kumar Jain

5. Justice Shiv Shanker Prasad

6. Justice Gajendra Kumar

7. Justice Nalin Kumar Srivastava

Punjab and Haryana High Court

After due considerations and assessments of the Judges unanimously recommended by Collegium of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on 20-05-2023, the Supreme Court Collegium resolved to recommend the names of following Judges to be appointed as Permanent Judges-

3. Justice Tribhuvan Dahiya

4. Justice Namit Kumar

5. Justice Harkesh Manuja

6. Justice Aman Chaudhary

8. Justice Harsh Bunger

9. Justice Jagmohan Bansal

10. Justice Deepak Manchanda

11. Justice Alok Jain @ Alok Kumar Jain.
