The Collegium comprising of Chief Justice of India, Dr D.Y. Chandrachud, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice B.R. Gavai and Justice Surya Kant passed a Resolution on 16-08-2023 whereby which they recommended to transfer Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar, who is currently a Judge of Delhi High Court to Rajasthan High Court.
The proposal to transfer Justice Bhatnagar was originally made on 10-08-2023, however Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar by a representation dated 16-08-2023 requested for his retention in Delhi High Court.
Upon due consideration of Justice Bhatnagar’s submissions, the Collegium decided to reiterate their proposal dated 10-08-2023 to transfer Justice Bhatnagar to Rajasthan High Court.
