BANGALORE
- Section 144 imposed in the city of Bengaluru starting 6PM on 31 December 2021 to 5AM on January 01, 2022.
- No gathering of more than 5 people in open areas and public places.
BIHAR
- Schools to remain closed, online classes will continue.
- Educational institutions of classes 9-12 will function on 50% capacity.
- Restrictions to remain in effect from Jan 6 to 21.
CHATTISGARH
- Night curfew to be imposed in Raipur from 9pm to 6am.
- Hotels/restaurants and food delivery to operate till 11pm.
- Malls, gyms, marriage halls to operate at 1/3rd capacity.
DELHI
- Delhi Disaster Management Authority in view of rising COVID cases and variant of concern-Omicron, instructs DMs to take all required measures in their respective jurisdictions to control the spread. No mask/No entry should be strictly ensured at shops/workplaces.
- All social/political/sports/entertainment/ cultural/ religious/festival related gatherings and congregations are completely prohibited in Delhi. No social gatherings are prohibited on Christmas or New Year.
- Night curfew imposed in Delhi from 10 PM to 5AM.
- Private offices to remain closed. Work From Home will be followed.
- Maximum 20 people at weddings and funerals
- Delhi Metro to function at half capacity.
- Malls and shops will open on an odd-even basis between 10AM- 8PM.
- Cinemas, multiplexes and gyms will be closed.
- Restaurants, bars to remain closed. Home deliveries will continue.
- Political, religious gatherings are not allowed.
- Order for weekend curfew has been issued. No non-essential movement will be permitted. It will remain in place from Friday night to Monday morning.
GUJARAT
- Night curfew (1AM to 5AM) in 8 major cities extended till December 31, 2021. The cities are: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Jungarh.
GOA
- Orders for Night Curfew from 11PM to 6 AM has been issued.
- Schools and colleges to remain shut till 26th January.
HARYANA
- From January 01, everyone above 18 years and are fully vaccinated will only be permitted to travel public places.
HIMACHAL PRADESH
- Night curfew imposed in the State from 10pm to 5AM.
KARNATAKA
- New Year celebrations at all public places will take place in a restricted manner. Restaurants will be allowed to operate on 50 per cent seating capacity and only fully vaccinated people should be allowed. No special events and DJs will be allowed. The new curbs will come into effect from December 30 and will remain till January 2.
- Night curfew imposed in the State for 10 days starting from December 28, between 10 PM to 5AM.
Madhya Pradesh
- Madhya Pradesh Government imposed a night curfew in the State from 11 pm to 5 am as precautionary measure and advised people to strictly follow Covid-19 protocols.
MAHARASHTRA
- New guidelines were issued wherein people only up to 50 percent capacity are allowed in closed spaces and only 25 percent in open spaces. Also party organisers need to get permission from the authorities if the gathering is more than 200 people.
- Schools to remain close till January 31, 2022.
PUNJAB
- All educational institutions, including schools, colleges and universities, shall remain shut for offline classes and virtual classes will continue.
- Night curfew will be in force from 10 pm to 5 am daily.
- Bars, cinemas halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, spas, museums and zoos may operate at 50% capacity provided all staff members are fully vaccinated.
TAMIL NADU
- Existing restrictions on social, cultural and political meetings extended till December 31, 2021.
- Public gatherings banned at all beaches on December 31, 2021 and January 01, 2022.
- Night curfew has been announced in the State from 10PM to 5AM.
UTTAR PRADESH
- Section 144 of CrPC imposed in Lucknow from December 07 to January 05, 2022.
- Midnight mass in UP churches will be only for invitees. The Government has also called off all kinds of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
- Night curfew from December 25 from 11PM till 5AM.
- Limit of the number of people allowed in wedding is 200.
