Symbiosis Law School, Pune hosts ‘Iridescence’ – an online photography competition-and-exhibition that provides a platform for those students who have an interest in photography to have their skills displayed. Currently in its 7th edition, Iridescence serves as an opportune medium for participants to demonstrate their aptitude and inclination for photography, unearthing several hidden talents and enhancing their reputation, under the aegis of reputed professionals from the field of photography.

Whether a participant is an amateur photographer or an experienced one, operating either on a sophisticated DSLR or a phone camera, we at Symbiosis Law School, Pune wish to invite everyone smitten by the art of photography to participate in our flagship Photography Event, Iridescence under the theme Shape of Water. The idea behind this concept is to allow photographers the opportunity to exhibit moments of transient change, balance, free flow, and to immortalize those transformations in life which are infinitely yielding and powerful, by capturing them in one photograph of brilliance. Furthermore, we wish to depict the versatility of water in all its forms – liquid, ice and dew, each communicating with different variables and becoming apt for the shutter of a camera. The perception and interpretation of the element of water, which retains no constant shape, is left to the capturer’s artistic liberty.

The exhibition cum competition shall be judged by a panel of esteemed judges; Mr. Rakesh Pulapa, a renowned travel and aerial photographer who has also worked for brands like Vivo and Canon, and Ms. Rathika Ramasamy, one of India’s foremost female wildlife photographers.

Interested participants are requested to register and submit their entries by 25th of April, 2021 by using the following form: HERE .

A registration fee of Rs.150/- is applicable for submission of entries and attendance of the event. Participants must strictly abide by the rules and procedural regulations attached herewith. Entries shall be selected by a Quality Control Committee and will be displayed at the online exhibition slated to happen on 29th of April, 2021 during Symbhav 2021, one of Pune’s biggest cultural festivals.
