Centre for Labour Laws is glad to introduce its maiden WORKSHOP ON LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW. The media partners for this event are SCC Online and EBC. The Workshop will be spanning over two days’ schedule from 20th to 21st March, 2021 with a breakup of two sessions on each day. The speakers would be Ms. Deeksha Malik (Associate, Khaitan & Co.) and Mr. Sachin Kumar (Deputy Labour Welfare Commissioner, Government of India).

The details of the schedule of both the days are as follows:

Session 2: Role Played by Government Authorities [11:15AM – 12:00PM]

This session will be centred around the four new Labour Codes and the resultant shift in the position of law.

[15 minutes break]

Session 2: Career as an Employment Lawyer [12:15 PM – 01:00 PM]

The final session will focus on the kind of work an employment lawyer is involved in, the career opportunities that exist within this field and how students that are interested in this niche field may approach and prepare for it. This would be an interactive session, where questions by the students would be entertained to facilitate an open discussion.

This Workshop would be a fruitful opportunity for students who have a penchant for labour and employment laws. We would highly encourage those who are interested in exploring this niche area of law but do not know where to start. We promise to develop a platform for knowledge diffusion. A certificate of participation shall be given to all the attendees.

So, come and register yourself for free to open the window of this opportunity at the earliest because the clock is ticking!
