The team comprising Aparna Krishna Kumar (Year III), Ayan Gupta (Year II) and Ghanavi Umesh (Year II) has been declared as the Winning Team at the 25th Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition Surana & Surana Indian National Rounds.
This year’s problem was based at the intersection of international environmental law, public international law and international trade law, focussing on ‘Protection of Bats and International Trade Measures’.  The team worked extremely hard on their arguments in the past months which culminated in this success.
Ayan Gupta was adjudged as the Best Student Advocate in the competition as well as the Best Oralist in the Final Rounds. They were also adjudged to have the 3rd Best Memorials in the competition. With this result, we have qualified for the international rounds of the competition hosted by Stetson University, Florida to be held on 25 March – 27 March 2021.
