The ILNU team comprising of Rishabh Jain, Shipra Sayal and Shubham Gupta has won the citation of the Best Memorial in the 4th GNLU Moot on Securities and Investment law, 2018.
As the name suggests, the subject-matter of the moot is Securities and Investment Law, and it is a matter of great pride to see students exploring such a technical area in their Third Year itself. This was a team that had been working on this moot proposition day and night in Ahmedabad during their vacations, and the same is visible from their written submissions also. The team had been applauded by the judges for the creative arguments in the prelims rounds and won the second rounds of prelims by 9-0. However, the team lost the first round of prelims by a margin of 6-3.
