Hidayatullah National Law University is proud to announce ‘Akanksha Soni Memorial Essay Writing Competition” in loving memory of the University’s alumnus, Late Akanksha Soni (Batch of 2014). Akanksha, an animal rights enthusiast, was keen on advocating for the voiceless. She was also immensely passionate about human rights. As a tribute to her memory and interests, the University would like to invite budding lawyers to explore and analyze the sub-themes of this competition. This competition is open to all future lawyers studying in different Universities and Colleges of India. The theme for the competition is “Human and Animal Rights: Expanding Frontiers in the 21st Century”.

1st Prize :- Rs. 10,000 + Merit Certificate + Plaque
2nd Prize:- Rs. 7000 + Merit Certificate + Plaque
3rd Prize :- Rs. 5000 + Merit Certificate + Plaque
