1. About the Organisers
Sanely Legal
Sanely Legal is a legal education platform for law students and young professionals. It brings practical courses, exam-ready notes, internships, competitions, law events and publications together in one place. Founded by Adv. Asma Khan and led by practising lawyers, it puts practice first and theory second, so students learn law the same way.
FairLex
FairLex is a student-led legal community and academic platform built on a simple idea: legal knowledge should be accessible to everyone. It was started by students who wanted legal knowledge to be easier to find, understand and engage with. Beyond publishing information, FairLex creates opportunities for students to participate through legal writing, research, discussions, competitions and bootcamps, connecting students beyond their classrooms so they can learn, write, research and grow.
2. Structure of the Event:
The 1st FairLex Sanely Legal National Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2026 is the flagship event of both organisations. It gives law students a platform to compete, learn and build connections beyond their own institutions. This edition is centred on Arbitration, reflecting the organisers’ engagement with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and contemporary developments in arbitration.
