New Wage Rates for Unskilled Manual Workers Effective from 1 July 2026

On 30 June 2026, the Ministry of Rural Development notified revised State-wise wage rates for unskilled manual workers under the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G Act, 2025.

The revised wage rates came into effect from 1 July 2026.

Key Highlights:

1. The revised rates have been issued under Section 10 of the VB-G RAM G Act, 2025,

2. The notification specifies State-wise wage rates for unskilled manual work under the Scheme notified under Section 3 of the Act.

3. The notification supersedes the Ministry’s earlier notification dated 26 February 2013.

4. The wage rates vary across States and Union Territories.

5. The State-wise wage rates for unskilled manual workers are as follows:
