Building on the success of its 2024 and 2025 editions, this year’s conference is being organised by Manipal Law School in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and with the support of the Society of Construction Law India.

The conference will be held at Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and will be preceded by a Pre-Conference Networking Dinner on 5 June 2026 (Friday) from 7:00 PM onwards.

The 2026 edition is themed “Reforming Construction Disputes and Contract Delivery in India”, and seeks to address one of the most pressing challenges confronting India’s infrastructure sector – the rising volume, cost, and complexity of construction disputes. Conceptualised as a forum that brings together legal, technical, and industry stakeholders, the conference aspires to shift the dominant discourse from dispute resolution to dispute prevention, by re-examining the fundamentals of contract design, risk allocation, evidentiary practice, and project administration. Through expert panels, Oxford-style debates, and structured roundtables, the deliberations are intended to feed into practical, implementable reforms for India’s construction and infrastructure ecosystem.

The conference will be graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice BM Shyam Prasad as the Chief Guest, whose presence is expected to lend valuable judicial perspective to the day’s deliberations on arbitration reform and dispute resolution frameworks. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Ratan K. Singh, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and International Member, Keating Chambers, London ,a globally recognised authority on construction arbitration. Their participation, alongside that of distinguished judges, senior counsel, international and domestic industry experts, and academic leaders, underscores the stature the conference has come to acquire within the construction law community.
