ABOUT THE ORGANISER
Established in 1971, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has been home to Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) since 2002. SLS Pune has consistently been ranked among India’s leading law schools, including Top 10 by India Today — Nielsen Rankings, Top 3 by GHRDC Super Excellence Survey (2019), and 5th in the NIRF Rankings.
SLS Pune proudly presents the 18th edition of SYMBHAV, its flagship annual inter-collegiate festival. Since its inception in 2009, SYMBHAV has evolved into a nationally recognised platform bringing together students from across the country through legal, academic, cultural, literary, sports, and fine arts events.
SYMBHAV’26 will be held from 13 March to 16 March 2026.
ABOUT THE LEGAL EVENTS
The Legal segment of SYMBHAV ’26 comprises seven national-level competitions organised under the 2nd Nithin Patil Memorial — SymArbitrate Advocacy, 2026, aimed at fostering experiential legal learning through advocacy, negotiation, counselling, drafting, adjudicatory writing, and policy formulation.

ELIGIBILITY
-
The Deal Mediation, Negotiation, Client Counselling, Settlement Agreement Drafting, Judgement Writing, and Online Contract Drafting Competitions are open to students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year Integrated LL.B. programmes from recognised institutions.

The Legal Policy Drafting Competition on “New Labour Codes” is open to students from Law, Economics, Humanities, and allied disciplines.
-
Cross-institutional teams are not permitted in any competition.
GENERAL REGISTRATION DETAILS

Deadline for Registration: 28 February 2026

Registrations shall be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration for each competition must be completed separately.

Upon successful registration, participants/teams shall be allotted a unique team/participant code, which must be used for all future correspondence.

Non-payment of registration fees within the stipulated period shall result in cancellation of registration.

AVAILABLE PACKAGES FOR REGISTRATION
Participants may register for individual competitions by paying the applicable registration fee or alternatively, opt for the discounted registration packages listed below.
1. All Legal Events Package

Applicable if a participant chooses to participate in all seven (07) legal competitions.

1. 2nd Nithin Patil Memorial: SymArbitrate Advocacy — Deal Mediation Competition, 2026

Team Composition: Three participants (Client, Counsel, Mediator); once roles are chosen, they cannot be changed. Maximum of two teams per institution.
