CBDT Expands Scope of ‘Specified Fund’ to Cover SEBI and IFSCA-Regulated Funds
CBDT has notified the Income-tax (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026 to revise the definition of “specified fund”, bringing certain funds regulated by SEBI and the International Financial Services Centres Authority within its scope.
