Maharashtra extends Ban on Gutkha, Pan Masala and Similar Products for Another Year
The Maharashtra Government has prohibited the manufacture, storage, distribution, transport and sale of gutkha, pan masala, flavoured tobacco, flavoured supari, kharra, mawa and similar products across the State, citing public health concerns and scientific evidence linking such products to cancer and other diseases.
