SVKM’s Kirit P. Mehta School of Law and School of Branding and Advertisement is announcing their very first InterVarsity Debate Competition 2026, a national-level British Parliamentary debating experience, set to take place from the 6th to the 8th of March 2026, in Mumbai.

About KPMSOL and SOBA

The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (KPMSOL) of SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be- University) established in the year 2013 approved by the Bar Council of India aims to provide quality legal education. The BBA in Branding & Advertising develops students’ insight and skill in launching, building, and managing brands and businesses.

About the 1st InterVarsity Debate Competition, 2026

It is with great pleasure that SVKM’s Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (KPMSOL), in association with the School of Branding and Advertising (SOBA), presents the 1st InterVarsity Debate Competition, 2026—a national-level British Parliamentary Debate (BPD) competition. Scheduled to take place from 6th to 8th March 2026 at the NMIMS Mumbai campus, this event is set to be an intense three-day debating experience replete with in-depth analysis, rebuttals, and advocacy. The competition is open to institutional and cross teams, with facilities for individual adjudicators, and follows a strict N = N adjudicator policy.

Eligibility

Any college within the territory of India is eligible to register. There is no bar on the number of teams and adjudicators a college can send within one contingent.
