International Sustainability Conclave

The Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations (CTRCR) at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai invites research papers and registrations for the ‘International Sustainability Conclave’ to be held from 10th to 11th February 2024.

About the CTRCR at MNLU Mumbai

The CTRCR was established at MNLU Mumbai, to encourage and promote discussions, training, and research in Commercial Law and allied areas like ESG, by bringing together working-professionals, regulators, judges, economists, academicians, and students. Its aim is to disseminate awareness about contemporary challenges faced by different businesses in the Indian & International Markets. It envisages to be able to generate literary academia where people from all diverse fields can share the nuances about the regulatory compliance mechanisms and the nitty-gritties associated with them

About the ESG Committee at CTRCR

The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee is built on the idea that firms must adapt to a changing environment by taking some preventive and corrective steps to ensure their long-term viability. The ESG Committee was created to research the contemporary issues being raised, which will be crucial in influencing legislative changes that would enable business entities to manage risk in a strategic and balanced manner. By doing this, the ESG Committee hopes to create a strong and forward-thinking corporate regime.

About the International Sustainability Conclave

The International Sustainability Conclave aims to appraise the students, academicians, lawyers, Company Secretaries, and Business Professionals with an impactful insight into fostering sustainable practices and advancing global initiatives aimed at environmental, social, and economic well-being, through collective expertise and multidisciplinary approach. We encourage students and working-professionals from diverse backgrounds, including law, management, commerce, economics, and sciences, who engage with facets of sustainability to attend the Conclave.

Call for Submissions:

This is a call for research papers exploring the multifaceted dimensions of ESG practices across various disciplines. The organisers invite professionals faculties, researchers and students, from law and other diverse fields (including but not limited to environmental studies, social sciences, governance, economics, business, and allied sciences), to contribute their insights into the ongoing discourse on sustainable practices in the corporate landscape.

An abstract of the paper to be presented should be submitted on our email esgcommittee.ctrcr@gmail.com. After the acceptance of the abstract, the full paper should be submitted on or before 30th January 2024. Registration Process:

  • Interested Candidates may fill out the registration link, pay the registration fees and upload a picture showing the proof of payment.
  • Confirmation mail of admission along with the links to the event will be notified to your Email ID post registration.
  • The registration fees would include participation in all the sessions, a conclave kit, and, lunch and tea in between the sessions. Kindly note that accommodation for participants will not be provided.
