About the organiser/college/university

The event is being organized by Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. The School of Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is an academic fraternity of individuals dedicated to the motto, “EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE”, providing a nurturing ground for an individual’s holistic development to make an effective contribution to society in a dynamic environment. SLCU holds a vision to become a globally recognized centre for excellence in legal education with a mission to create and proactively generate in-depth legal knowledge in the student community so that they can transfer their acquired knowledge to the larger benefit of the society, in accordance with professional ethics and values. In order to promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures and workshops are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals.

Details about the event/opportunity

The Symposium shall be held on the 29th of September 2023, in an Offline Mode to provide students with a valuable exchange of knowledge and the chance to network with established industry professionals. The panel will consist of experts in Insolvency, Corporate Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital and Banking & Finance, who will discuss pertinent issues and trends and propose recommendations. The panel’s diversified experience aims to provide a comprehensive, all-round understanding of corporate laws by reflecting on different disciplines within the field.

This Symposium is open to students currently enrolled in 3-year LL.B or 5-year LL.B Courses in India.

Registration/submission procedure

The link for registration will be open till the 26th of September, 2023. The details of the online payment can be found in the brochure. The amount will be used towards the symposium, a participant’s kit, a certificate of participation as well as refreshments. Please note that the participants will have to arrange for accommodation as well as transport on their own.
