Centre for Advanced Research & Training in Arbitration Law (CARTAL) pleased to announce that Linklaters and CARTAL are organising the Linklaters 7th CARTAL Conference on International Arbitration. 

This is the first event at an Indian law school in collaboration with Linklaters. The theme of this year's Conference is “Sailing Through Tumult: Towards Safe Harbour” and will be held from February 10-12, 2023 at National Law University, Jodhpur. The details of the conference are provided below:

– Panel 1: Expensive Consequences: Implications of Economic Sanctions on International Arbitration (Saturday, February 11).

– Panel 2: Arbitration in the 21st Century: Taking Stock of Climate Change and the Environment (Saturday, February 11).

– Panel 3: Arbitration and Insolvency: Avoiding a Collision Course (Sunday, February 12).

Registration as a Student

Step 1 — Payment of Registration Fee: The registration fee for practitioners is INR 4,000, which includes accommodation, food arrangements, and keynote speech by Linklaters which shall encompass information for the students interested in graduate schemes with the firm, among other things. Step 2 — Filling the Registration Form: Post the payment, kindly fill the google form which can be accessed from here.

Registration as a Practitioner

Step 1 — Payment of Registration Fee: The registration fee for practitioners is INR 6,000, which includes food arrangements and a Networking Dinner with the panellists. The payment for registration may be made through the link provided below: http://www.nlujodhpur.ac.in/nlu-fees/.

Step 2 — Filling the Registration Form: Post the payment, kindly fill the google form which can be accessed from here.
