About MAIMS

MAIMS was established in 2003 by Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society. The Institute has attained a distinct position in running LLM, BBA, B.Com (H), BA (H) Eco., BA.JMC, BA LL.B (Integrated), and BBA LL.B (Integrated) programmes affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. We collaborate and maintain excellent relationships with industry and leading corporate houses for training and internship opportunities. This gives our students an edge over others, which is reflected in our year after year high placement rates. At MAIMS, we inspire dreams, galvanise actions, and define the vision for tomorrow. About Department of Law

The Department of Law was established in 2017 by introducing a five-year integrated BALL.B degree course. Established as a unit of the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, the Department aims to provide quality education with a professional approach to the budding legal professionals. Entry to the five year course is through the rankings of the CLAT (Common Law Aptitude Test). There is a total intake of 120 students in BA LL.B. stream and 60 students in BBA LL.B stream every year. Higher education imparts in-depth knowledge and understanding so as to advance the students to new frontiers of knowledge. In order to open more avenues MAIMS, Department of Law introduced LLM (Master of Law) in Intellectual Property Rights from this year. The Department is equipped with requisite facilities like Moot Court, Legal Services Clinic, etc., as stipulated by the Bar Council of India. It has a mix of senior seasoned faculty as well as young and dynamic faculty.

MAIMS 3rd National Moot Court Competition, 2022

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies 3rd National Moot Court Competition, 2022, aims to provide a platform for students across India to showcase their advocacy and research skills by competing in a professional and challenging environment. The purpose of organizing this competition is to help the participants nurture their prime advocacy skills.

Objectives

  • To facilitate practical learning and capacity building of the young law students.

  • To motivate law students all across India and encourage the holistic development of their interpersonal and professional skills.

PROGRAM DETAILS

DATE AND VENUE:

The ‘MAIMS 3rd National Moot Court Competition, 2022′ will be held from 11th November 2022 to 26th November, 2022 of which inaugural is to be done in online mode, and the oral rounds would be conducted in virtual and physical mode.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • All oral and written submissions are required to be made in English, which shall be the official language of the Competition.

  • The competition is open for students pursuing LLB three-year / five year course during the current academic year.

  • Only one team is permitted to participate from each participating Institution. A team is not permitted to have members from more than one institution.

  • Each team shall consist of three members. This number cannot be modified under any circumstances.

  • In a team consisting of three members, two members shall be designated as ‘Speakers,’ and the third member shall be designated as ‘Researcher.

FEE DETAILS:

The registration fee of Rs. 3,500/- for each participating team consisting of three (3) members is to be submitted via an online transaction on or before 2th October, 2022 by 11:59 p.m. (IST).
