About School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University)

School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, was founded and is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). In 2004 and 2016, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) held the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale. In four decades, the institution has become the most preferred educational institution in the city. SLCU entered the list of top law schools in India according to the NIRF Rankings declared by the MHRD in 2020.

The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee, School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University) is holding the 7th edition of its annual flagship event, National Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition (NTAC) from 17th – 19th February, 2022.

In the previous editions, NTAC has witnessed participants from law schools across the country and has successfully contributed to the promotion of a trial culture and criminal litigation. NTAC prides itself for being a one of a kind trial experience which helps in honing one’s research skills, and overall prowess of courtroom etiquette.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Competition is open for all students who are pursuing a three or five-year LL.B. Degree Course in Universities/Colleges/Law Departments in India, as recognized by the Bar Council of India.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

The participation in the 7th SLCU National Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition registration shall be based on first come first serve basis to 24 Participating Teams. Registration shall be successful upon completion of all formalities mentioned in the Rules. Last day for Online Registration is 7th February, 2022. Request for Refund of Registration Fee shall not be entertained.
