Project Saathi, in association with El Jeffa Foundation, presents NEP Conclave 2020 on Oct 2, 2020, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The event shall be graced by Mr. Satyanarayan Sahu, former OSD to the President of India as the Chief Guest. His address shall be on “NEP 2020 in context of Gandhian Thought”.
The Panellists for the Conclave are:
1. Prof. M. K. Sridhar, Hon’ble Member of Core NEP 2020 Drafting Committee; Prof. Sridhar is a member of Central Advisory Board of Education, MHRD as well as member of Project Approval Board of Pandit Madanmohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching, MHRD.
2. Ms. Geeta Dharmarajan, Padma Shree Awardee and Founder, Katha; Ms. Dharmarajan is an acclaimed writer of children’s books and works with children from poor families. Katha develops modules on children’s education and literature along with teachers’ training.
3. Mr. Dilip Thakore, Editor in Chief, Education World; India’s largest and only magazine focusing on education policy and analysis. Mr. Thakore is also the founding editor of Business India and Business World.
4. Mr. Rahul Gondane, Core Team Member, Teach for India; Mr. Gondane is a Senior Manager for National Child Safety and Advocacy at Teach for India. He is a member of NITI Aayog’s Education Sub Committee.
5. Prof. Vasudha Prakash, Founder, V Excel; Dr. Vasudha holds a doctorate degree in Special Education from Rutgers University and has been working with special children since 2002.
The event will be moderated by Ms Pooja Pandey, Project Associate (Education) at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, New Delhi. Ms Pandey has been leading the projects undertaken by Vidhi on education and particularly, NEP 2020.
