About Virtual Moot Court Competition

Amity Law School, Noida, Amity University Uttar Pradesh is pleased to announce the 1st Edition of Amity Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2020 (Online Moot), scheduled to be held on 8th May- 9th May 2020

Theme: 

The theme of the moot problem for the 1st Edition shall deal with International Criminal Law and the matter would be in the argument stage before the International Criminal Court.

Cash prize, awards, and certificate of merit shall be provided for the following categories:

  • Winner

  • Runner-up Team

  • Best Memorial

  • Best Speaker

It will be conducted online via video-conferencing

Team size and other information

A team shall comprise of 2 speakers and 1 researcher(optional).

Preliminary Round is the Individual Round. Participants have to send a pre-recorded video on the official email : virtualmootalsn@gmail.com  (for more details, refer the Guidelines)

Semi-finals and Final Round will be conducted via video conferencing.

Registration Procedure

To register for the Competition, kindly confirm your participation via email to the Organizing Committee at virtualmootalsn@gmail.com and complete the payment by clicking  HERE

Kindly note that the deadline for the registration is 3rd May,2010. Any query can also be directed at the same email address.

Fee Details:

The registration fee for the event is Rs.1000/- per team.

Important dates

  • Release of Moot Proposition: 13th April 2020

  • Deadline for submission of Moot Memorial: 6th May,2020

  • Last date of submission of Pre-recorded video for Preliminary Rounds – 7th May,2020

  • Oral rounds: 8th May-9th May,2020
