The Progressive Constitutional Law Society of HNLU was established in the year 2019. It is an initiative by the students of Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) to educate students about the Constitution of India and the values of Constitutionalism. Upholding the four pillars of the Society’s constitution i.e. Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and Dignity, members of the society strive to foster independent academic thought and ignite conversations on matters of Constitutional law and Constitutional values. It undertakes various exercises which raise awareness amongst students and the public about matters related to the Indian Constitution.
The founding members of the Society are Neha Shetty, Saumitra Shrivastava, Joyjeev Medhi, Shivangi Sharma and Siddharth Shivakumar.
The Society works in close tandem with its mentors who guide the Society in its various endeavors. These mentors are: Mr Gautam Bhatia, Mr Abhinav Sekhri, Mr Apar Gupta, Ms Vrinda Bhandari and Ms Isha Khandelwal.
The Society has recently launched its own website (HERE)  which acts as a one-stop destination to know about the Society and its activities. The website encompasses a blog wherein articles on constitutional law are published. Do read our inaugural blog posts on essential religious practice Here
